RELEASE OF LIABILITY
This release supplements the Liability Waiver and applies to events, third-party facilities, photo/video use, and transportation associated with Hoops College programs.
1. Events & Third-Party Facilities
Hoops College runs camps, leagues, and events both at our own facility and at third-party venues (school gyms, recreation centers, partner facilities). You acknowledge that participation in events held at any facility — Hoops College or otherwise — carries inherent athletic risks, and you release Hoops College and the host facility from liability for injury or loss arising during the event, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
2. Photo, Video & Likeness
Hoops College may photograph or record training sessions, camps, and events for promotional, instructional, or social media use. By participating, you grant Hoops College the right to use the participant's name, image, voice, and likeness in any Hoops College promotional material, including websites, social media, video, and print. For participants under 18, parental/guardian consent is required and may be revoked at any time by written notice to info@hoopscollege.com.
3. Transportation
When transportation is provided to or from a Hoops College event, you release Hoops College from liability for incidents occurring during transit, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct. Parents and guardians remain responsible for arranging pickup and dropoff at scheduled times unless otherwise agreed in writing.
4. Personal Property
Hoops College is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property brought to any training session, camp, league, or event. Leave valuables at home or secure them yourself.
5. Acknowledgment
By signing this release at registration, you confirm that you have read it, understand it, and accept its terms voluntarily and on behalf of any minor participant for whom you are the parent or legal guardian.
